Your data plan will activate as soon as you arrive in your destination country or region. If
you are already in your desired destination when you book a plan, it will activate
immediately.
Yes. Our eSIMs work seamlessly alongside any current SIM card or eSIM already installed on
your device. Simply download a United States plan, and when you are in United States, you
will be able to browse the internet and use apps at local data prices, instead of paying for
international roaming charges.
Our eSIM plans are data-only – meaning that they do not support the use of voice calls or
SMS messages. You will still be able to make phone calls and send SMS messages in United
States, however they will be billed to your usual network provider. Any internet-based
messaging or calling services such as WhatsApp, iMessage, Telegram, Zoom or FaceTime can be
used with a BetterRoaming eSIM however.
